Just got the email blurb. Will look around and see if I can find a link that shows what was traded.

**edit***

confirmed on ESPN now, deal is 6th round pick that can move up to a 5ht rounder depending on # of receptions.

Makes sense for st. Louis but dont understand benefit for Denver. If they want to see what tebow has why get rid of their best receiver? There may have been something in the lockerroom with Lloyd not wanting to play with tebow. I do recall overwhelming support from Lloyd in the preseason for tebow. I don't get it.

I could not agree more, I think this is a strange.....strange move given the circumstances in Denver. Why take away one of the kid's best targets? I gotta believe that Tebow is not real comfortable with this move...

And with the addition of Lloyd, STL releases MSW. Wow, that speaks volumes considering how desperate STL is for WR help.

LLoyd was demanding a new contract, and was about to be FA, my understanding is, this is the best offer they got for him.

I guess if you feel as though he is more or less gone anyway, get something for him now, rather than let him walk with zero....that does make sense...

Some have made the argument that it would have been better for Tebow's development to keep their best WR to help him along, but IMO why have Tebow build a comfort level with a WR that gone anyway. That would also take snaps away from the other WRs who are staying. If DEN is truly moving on looking towards next season then start getting as many reps with next season's personel as early as possible.

Right. And I also interpret the move as their admission that this season is going no where. If they felt that they had a slight chance of playoffs, I suspect that they might have kept Lloyd....

Agreed. Might as well start building a comfort level with Decker
