Lefty is Steeler QB: Start all your Steeler WRs

ESPN's Bob Holtzman reported on NFL Live Wednesday that doctors have advised Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder, ribs) to not return until his partially dislocated rib is completely healed, and "that could take up to six weeks.

Pittsburgh Steelers
head coach Mike Tomlin said the offense will have subtle changes with QB Byron Leftwich starting Week 11. Offensive coordinator Todd Haley said the offense will adapt to Leftwich's strengths.

Or Not.

I choose not, lol.

I agree, Roethlisberger going down is fantasy significant but you probably have a decent backup on your roster to replace that production. But this is like having the whole Seeler WR Corps going on bye for 6 weeks, that's really going to cramp a lot of owners style.

I would not touch a Pittsburgh WR now for anything. But I think Heath Miller owners will rock it out. He will be the safety valve that leftwich will live on.

i'd downgrade all rb's too . . . why wouldn't defenses stack the box against a depleted line and force leftwich to beat them . . . which he won't . . . ;)

I'm not starting any Steelers this week and I have Mendy and Redman. I agree with Bobbeaux in that teams should be able to shut down the running game and it hasn't been that great even with Big Ben, when they don't fear the pass.
