Warner has done nothing but confound the critics since day one. Great career for him.

I think he has earned his own thread.
Anyone who wants to share great memories of Kurt Warner or vids post them here.
For me it was his Super Bowl Season. I still remember Dick Vermeil crying (well, when does he not) and saying theyd "rally" around Kurt. All he did was take them to the Super Bowl and win it.
1A has to be the guy that left New York, that "didnt have it anymore" who took Arizona to respectability again.

If anyone might walk away, it would be him, but my money is on collecting 10 mil, and playing with his toys for another season. His running game is just gonna get better.

If not for the injury, I'd say he was almost a lock for next year. Why not? He's got arguably the best 1-2-3 WR punch in the league, a rising running game, and a crappy division to win again.. Plus I doubt he'd want to go out on this note.
However with the dings and age.. I'd say he's probably ready to go somewhere and enjoy his money and his suddenly hot wife.

I remember Warner looked to be finished when he went a couple seasons with the Rams post SB and just not playing very well, then resurrected his career in Zona, my hats off to Warner for never giving up and giving the NFL Nation some great games.

I disagree Sarge.
I don't consider a Super Bowl, then Division Champs and 2nd round of the play-offs to be "sorry".
Ask Joe Namath or Archie Manning about sorry ends to great careers.
If he retires, he's going out on top. He's one of the League's top 5 rated passers, holds numerous Rams, Cardinals and NFL records, his last game was a play-off game and, at 38, he walked away on his own 2 legs.
Bloody Hero in my book.

I do. I didnt think Arizona would win the Super Bowl, but I envisioned him going down swinging like he did in the Super Bowl, not the victim of a hard hit.
To me this is like the sorry end to Dan Marino's career. Another guy I thought would go down swinging, not the victim of a what, 5 or 6 INT demolition at the hands of the Jags. Maybe Im just the only one who wishes the Titans of the game go out with a flash.

Kurt looked pretty serious during his press releases. I don't peg him as the attention-getter. I believe he's been thinking bout this for a while and wants to enjoy more time with his family.

i remember reading that boldin's injury last year really scared him. and did you see his wife's face yesterday after he went down? she does NOT want him playing next year

(RotoWire) Warner is expected to make a decision regarding his 2010 status within a few weeks, the Arizona Republic reports. Analysis: There are good reasons for Warner to retire and good reasons for him to play another season. ESPN reported a couple weeks ago that Warner is likely to retire, but the report noted that he could still change his mind. Warner wants to get away from the emotions of the season before making a decision. It sounds like his decision could still go either way.
