Woo Nelly! Forte owners would be dancing in the streets. Reports say that the Bears are interested in Ravens OC Gary Kubiak as their next head coach and they may also seek to take Ravens asst. GM Eric DeCosta for their general manager position. I'd like to see Gary get another shot at the HC level.

Bears have NEVER hired somebody with NFL HC experience before... However they have also never fired somebody so quickly before. It would be just the "splash" and "forward thinking" that Halas Hall seems to think it is showing while actually being underwhelming to those who can see the real picture

Well Forte was 4th in receptions (102) overall this year and first among RB by 20 rec. Bennett was 11th in overall receptions (90) and 1st among TE by 5. If anything, this was symptomatic of the failure of the offense... and if they were both tops at their position, how does it get better?

Yuck... I just don't see him as a good head coach. Nice coordinator, but I think there at better options than Del rio.

I would love Cowher or Billick or Harbaugh would have been nice... all them guys are way too smart for this though

Cowher has stated he is staying in the booth, loves it, same as chucky. Billick has had no offers, so me thinks he is done. Harbaugh went back to college to continue the Big 10 surpassing of SEC, so yah...looks like Coordinators are your best shot in Chi town

Guess we disagree there. I would take Kubiak over Del Rio and it's really not close for me.

Yeah to phicin this is old news I was just saying what the CORRECT moves could have been :)
Sadly, I would LOVE to see Ditka back. Not sure he even wants to coach again. Honestly, I would love to see Holmgren there as well.

Holmgren announced he was offered a head coaching job but he didn't say where. He said he's only interested in SF.
yeah, saw that, says he has had enough of coaching but would have gone to San Fran. I just think he was made for the NFC north, and him bringing the Bears back to prominance a the cost of GB enticed me.
