Kolb expected to be Eagles starting QB in 2010

If there was ANY way for the Eagles to deal McNabb for a 2nd round pick AND get Ashoumaga(sp) I would absolutely freak!:thrash:

Ashoumaga and Samuels? WOW..............

Typical Raider philosophy. They don"t want to pay the best CB (OK, maybe 2nd best) in the league so they are thinking of moving him (that is one rumor anyway). Yet they gave a huge amount of money to a washed up Javon Walker a couple years back and turned down the opportunity to void the deal. Getting McNabb would definitely make them a better team, but losing Ashoumaga in the deal would cancel a lot of that gain out.

Anyway, I digress. It would be a great deal for Philly to get Ashoumaga straight up for McNabb, much less getting a 2nd as well............

Do the Eagles need to build up their WRs corp. for Kolb?
With Jackson, Maclin, and Avant, running out of the slot, it looks pretty good. Add Celek, (TE) running seam routs and this could be the best receiving corp. in the Andy Reid era.
Now who is on the roster that maybe adds some helps? The re- signing of Baskett, WR, who is another big target who knows the system, should be a big target running crossing routs and in the Red Zone. Then there is the unknown, Cornelius Ingram, TE, if he can come back from an ACL, he could be the steal from last year’s draft. Then there are young inexperience WRs and blocking TEs, there may be something there, and I hope this is the year we don’t need to look in the draft for help.

I think they still have Kevin Curtis, at least for one more year. He's fine as a #3/#4 WR if he can ever stay healthy. Good possession skills. McCoy is also a plus receiver out of the backfield so there's definitely no lack of quality targets.

Kevin Curtis was dropped end of March. Yes McCoy will be used a lot like B-West out of the backfield. Which could open a lot of running room for Weaver and Bell.

McCoy will be westbrook lite. He will line up at wr, in the slot, and in the back field.

I also agree with Maclin, Jackson, Avant and Celek, this is the best recieving team Philly has had in a long, long while.:koolaid:
