Commissioner Roger Goodell is expected to move in a "reasoned and measured pace" in deciding when Ben Roethlisberger can return to offseason workouts.

Roethlisberger has undergone behavioral evaluations as mandated by the league, and he may still undergo further treatment. The Steelers expect to have Big Ben back for their June 1-3 and June 8-10 OTA sessions at the earliest.

I'd read that he was going to undergo psychological evaluations to see if there might have been something wrong with his brain that affected his ability to reason, did anyone else here about this or know what the results of those evaluations might have been?

nfl.com,

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette anticipates the NFL will reduce Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger's suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy from six games to four. In a Q&A session with readers, Steelers beat writer Ed Bouchette was asked which game on the Steelers schedule he was most looking forward to this season. "Ben's return vs. Cleveland," Bouchette wrote.

a physician, not associated with the league or this case, reasoned that his behavior could be a result of concussions BR has sustained over his career. that or BR was really just an immature, poorly socialized jerk. being that Ben is from O-Hi-O...it's probably the later...just sayin'.

Suspended QB Ben Roethlisberger is not expected at Steelers OTAs until "next week at the earliest."

The team is still waiting for commissioner Roger Goodell to let Big Ben practice. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review suggests that the Steelers might shake up their QB pecking order in the meantime, perhaps giving Dennis Dixon more reps after Byron Leftwich ran the first team at early-May OTAs.

(nfl.com)NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says he expects to decide within a week when Ben Roethlisberger can rejoin the Steelers for offseason workouts. Goodell said Tuesday at the owners meetings that he would soon review the behavioral evaluation he ordered as part of his six-game suspension of the Steelers quarterback under the league's conduct policy.

Suspended QB Ben Roethlisberger has joined the Steelers for offseason workouts.

Roethlisberger was banned until Tuesday by commissioner Roger Goodell while undergoing behavioral evaluations. Big Ben's next goal will likely be to have his suspension reduced from six to four games. In order to do so, Goodell will want to see tangible evidence that Big Ben has cleaned up his act.

Ben Roethlisberger's accuser says that she did not try to fight him off because he appeared earlier in the night to have a short temper.

The comments are part of more than 50 audio and video recordings released by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday. The 20-year-old college student said she figured fighting back "wouldn't help anything. ... "I didn’t want, obviously, him to hurt me any more than he was going to."
