Careful here folks. If Indy management was confident Mannig would be back for week one, the wouldn't have brought in Collins. This sure feels like a month ago the Colts were confident in a week one return and now they are not so sure. Based on Manning's long term deal, they are more than a little confident that Manning will make a full recovery and be a top shelf QB for years to come, but short term they seem to be a little on edge. My guess is either Manning's not recovering quite a fast as they anticipated or (more likely) now that they've committed to him for 5 more years they don't want to rush him back. Either way, I'd guess Manning to miss his first regular season start in week one.
