Julio Jones - Draft Projection - NFL Impact
NFL Impact -"Quintorris Lopez Jones" was a big time receiver back home in Alabama. He started three years for the Tide and currently holds the single season record for receptions and yards, and is second on Alabama's all time board for both categories. Julio has amazing bulk and size for his lightning fast speed, however you will rarely see him play as fast as he clocks (that's just the nature of the sport). He has great hands but has been known to drop easy balls on film due to lack of concentration. Would fit nicely in a west coast offense as a #1 or #2 WR in the NFL, as he is used to playing in a run-first offense in college, and as a result, is an exceptional blocker. Julio's upside highly outweighs any downside that he may have. He's strong, fast, talented, plays like a professional, and has a competitive spirit that makes him a great leader. The biggest issue that teams may have is his list of injuries. He's had surgery to repair a shoulder, wrist, hernia, hand, and foot after this year's combine. But don't forget, he ran a 4.39 40 on that broken foot...
Where do you think Julio Jones will end up? Is he worth the hype?
