WKYC is reporting that WR Josh Gordon was arrested for DWI early this morning in Raleigh, N.C. Bye-bye NFL! That'll be a life time ban for the young man or so I believe.

Following his Saturday morning DWI arrest, suspended Browns WR Josh Gordon was bailed out of jail by Haydn "Fats" Thomas, a convicted felon.

Thomas, 39, has four aliases and an "extensive criminal background," including five known arrests in five different North Carolina counties. "Many of his charges are drug and gun related,"...

Okay, I have to ask, what was Cleveland thinking this draft?

They new before the draft that Gordon had failed another test. By all reports he has been an ongoing issue. But to not address WR at all, not even really in FA, I just don't get it.

Now they have solid Te, have some solid Rbs now. But still, they released other starting Wr, and now Gordon is done AT LEAST a year. I just don't get it.

That report is pretty telling. What is he doing hanging with people like this?

It's not like this is one of his boys growing up either. This convicted felon is 15 years older than him. Not sure how he even ends up associating with this dude or what the connection is.

This is really pathetic. How long before NFL owners put their players on lock down during the offseason?? If it was me, I'd be hiring life coaches, personal drivers, advisors, etc etc for every one of my players to ensure that even if they're gonna go out and party, someone is always right next to them watching their back

I think the difference is that Gordon is more thuggish while Blackmon is more dumbish
Good analogy. Same result however for two extremely talented guys. Don't feel sorry for either but will miss there skills come fantasy time. More fun players to watch, the better.........
