Packers placed TE Jermichael Finley (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Finley was holding out hope of making it back in time for the playoffs, but the Packers have too many injuries to tie up a roster spot for him. Dynasty owners should not be overly concerned, however. Finley's meniscus repair is not nearly as severe as a ligament tear and it will actually keep his knee in better shape over the long term. With two 100-yard games and a touchdown in four full games played this season, Finley did nothing to make us think he won't battle to be the No. 1 fantasy tight end next year. He should be fine for the entire offseason program.
