Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew has ended his 38-day holdout. Jones-Drew, however, did not receive the new contract he was looking for. He arrived at the team's headquarters Sunday, Sept. 2, and met with teammates and coaches. Jones-Drew skipped the team's entire off-season program in a contract dispute. He has two years remaining on his contract.
Good news for the Jags but a bit of a sticky wicket ofr Fantasy owners. It was reported that MJD had to show up by Monday or be inactive for the season opener. If That had happened then backup Rashad Jennings would have been an obvious great start. Now the playing time in the first game maybe split between them and neither may end up as a great start for week one. Fantasy owners can only hope for further clarity, which I am sure is coming..........
