rotoworld,
The National Football Post's Dan Pompei has spoken with two "high ranking decision makers" from teams that run West Coast offenses, and neither believe second-round pick Colin Kaepernick is a fit for the system.
"We look for quicker decision making skills, the ability to get the ball out more quickly. He is more of a windup guy," one said. "He doesn’t have a lot of touch on his passes, so you worry about the precise timing and touch passes that you usually see in the West Coast," were the words of the other. "He also has a hitch in his delivery. On the surface, he looks like a strange fit." Source: National Football Post
I do know that a west coast QB needs to react quick and make on target throws in a hurry. What I'm not sure about is if Colin is as poor at these skill sets as the story above indicates. Any thoughts Outlaws?
