Are there any Outlaws with real time experience in these leagues? This is my first step into such action with this year's SO Season Challenge. What position/positions on defense would you experienced players say I should try to fill first? I guess you wouldn't target a player like Reevis because while he might be the best at his position teams seldom throw in his direction. Is my thinking correct on those lines? Would you pick a poor cornerback by the same token because he'll be thrown at a lot and have lots more chances to make picks, tackles, and such? I'm telling y'all I have a load of questions about the strategies that should/could be used here.

Please some one, show me the way.:sunshine:

I have only done limited IDP league work. So take this with a grain of salt.

But usually the key pts come from tackles, sacks and INTs or fumbles caused.

So you usually target guys like Safeties that are very strong in run and passing game as they net higher pts. Or big time DE's where they get sacks. Blitz OLB are solid as well.

Our dynasty league uses IDP's and I have to say that LB's are a premium commodity and have been for the 7 years we've been doing this. Rarely do you see a CB or DL on a team. I picked up Jarod Allen last year just because he was a beast and was on the waiver wire. But he was very inconsistent.

LB's however are for the most part tackle machines and we award one point for each tackle. We play 3 IDP positions, so if you average 10 pts per game from each of your guys, that can add significantly to your weekly total.

You'd just have to check your leagues scoring system and see where most of the points will come from.
