Interesting. What I'm reading here from Mike and Miller is that both of you guys are not going to buy any of the hype I'm selling.

Little or no fear of further injury or the 30 year old wall?

I seem to remember a discussion close to this one about Edge last year. A lot of people said he was still going to be strong. Said he would avoid the 30 year old crap. Then BOOM!!

His breakdown wasn't quite as devastating though because he could be had in the 4th Rd. You have to spend a 1st rounder on LT.

The risk is too much for me.
Okay, I can somewhat agree with you that age can be a concern at key positions...and 30 is a starting point for Rb.
I can also agree with you that injuries are starting to pile up on LT2...and adds to the concern.

However, don't come to me with Edge. Edge's drop wasn't due to edge...it was due to the team's offense, and lack of Oline...and focus on the pass. When he was relied on...and given the right amount of work...he did very, very well. See the last few games of the reg. season last year.

As for the injury concern...it is legit for LT2. However, even dinged up...and missing time...he was still in the top 10 if not top 5 in scoring last year. So can you really say the wheels have fallen off?

I tend to end up at the end of the round in drafts....either by preference or how the season went. This year....if I am 8 or on.....LT2 will be a serious consideration for me...depending on how things drop during the draft.

Thanks for defending Edge, dude. Seriously the guy played very well when he was given the opportunity. In Arizona they just sat him. Not his fault.

I believe LT will be in the top 5 scoring this year. The right projection has been stated in many threads by EC, IMO. I like where she wants him and think he will have good value.

Guys I'm taking before L.T. in a 12-team redraft PPR league: (in no order)

Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Michael Turner, Maurice Jones-Drew

Guys who I would consider a coin flip with Tomlinson at the 1.05 spot:
Steve Slaton, DeAngelo Williams, Chris Johnson

Guys who are commonly being drafted before L.T. who aren't mentioned above:
Steven Jackson, Brian Westbrook, Frank Gore, Marion Barber

So for what it's worth, I'm slotting L.T. between the 1.05 - 1.09 picks, and I think that's good value for him in that range. Obviously in a Dynasty league he falls way past that.
