How about a thread of just facts?

In his first five NFL seasons, Cam Newton has scored more fantasy points (1,627.60) than any other player in NFL history. Peyton Manning is second ... he scored 1,279.30 fantasy points in his first five seasons.

Add what you've got.

A record 18 quarterbacks outscored the top-scoring running back (Devonta Freeman) last season. The previous record was 6, set in 2012 and matched in 2014.

The game is changing.

Beckham Jr. scored the second-most fantasy points (427.30) in his first two seasons among wide receivers in the Super Bowl era, behind only Moss (449.40).

Odell Beckham Jr. set the NFL record for most receiving yards in his first two seasons with 2,755 breaking the record previously held by Randy Moss.

OBJ has missed a combined five games in his first two NFL seasons. Moss played in all 32 games in his first two pro campaigns.

First of all, GREAT THREAD.

Secondly...the ODB stats are SICK.

RC was just a year off on his Anderson love fest.

This will prove to be a fact
I still can't see it. Flat out : the guy ain't that talented. He has a good stretch when the Denver offense was really clicking in 2014.

Now what? Sure, the outside weapons are nice, but what QB is going to make the passing game and offense in general a real threat?

Add up the RBs who put up great seasons with a sub par talent under center. You end up with names like AP, Gurley, McCoy. Guys who are supremely talented. CJA simply isn't that kind of gifted.

Of course, opportunity goes a long long way to success. Justin Forsett was a perennial back up until he got handed the ball repeatedly. Marshawn Lynch was a total bust in Buffalo.

Denver has no choice but to run so Anderson and Hillman could BOTH have career years.

On the other hand, we don't know how these guys will fare vs 8 in the box and a suspect O-Line. I imagine defenses will force them to pass.

ADP of late 3rd might be a little high depending on how RBs come off the board.

How is that really any different than last year? Peyton Manning was dead last in QB rating. Brock was 25th in the league.

Where as Lynch and Forsett saw a change....CJA is facing a very similar situation.

I'm still on the hating CJA train, and anyone who spends a draft pick on him is wasting it. We know who he is already. Nothing has changed.
