High On Ocho

So, I have been fallowing the The Ocho hype and most of it has been anti-Ocho hype but that is what gets the headlines and generating stories is what the media is about. CBS Sportsline produced the clip and ESPN has been running the video clip endlessly about Ocho only feeling 70% comfortable with the O and has been running that over and over for more than a couple of weeks. ESPN and a lot of fantasy sites have been speculating on Ocho getting cut as a result, again this is what generates headlines.

So this is the intel that I got at about the same time as this media mob started:

New England Patriots WR Chad Ochocinco has been working in two-receiver packages with WR Wes Welker in training camp. WR Deion Branch joins the mix in three-receiver packages.

So while Ocho won't blow up like Moss did when he arrived neither was he in danger of being cut as many speculated and there is no reason to think that Ocho won't put up some nice numbers considering the way Brady spreads the ball around.

The Sports Announcers and past Pro athletes are also split on this. I heard Deion Sanders say it was going to be Ochos best season. Now that is some serious smoking there. Every outfit seems split right down the middle on this one. My whole deal is Brady is way to in love with welker and Branch, or atleast way too familiar, that I just don't see him taking on the additional work to look for Ocho. Throw in the Te's and Danny Woodhead, and I just don't see what the whole premise of the thread was about.... happening. I'm not saying he won't produce, but your original post is starry eyed on this one. All I really wanted to do was help you walk back your expectations some, and if I'm wrong.....I'm wrong. That happens alot!
This is exactly what I expected tonight.
