High On Ocho

I understand he's struggled with the lingo in NE, but that doesn't mean he's getting cut.

I'd bet a ton that he's not getting cut. That's just rediculous

This isn't it, but I'll find it. All we have been trying to do was temper your expectations as you are just about the only one left with high ones for Ocho right now.

Patriots | Chad Ochocinco may not be No. 2 WR right away Wed Aug 31, 11:27 AM The New England Patriots may not use WR Chad Ochocinco as the No. 2 wide receiver at the start of the season and could wait until after their bye before moving him into the starting lineup.
Our view: Fantasy owners are pumping the brakes on Ochocinco after his disappointing play this preseason. By all accounts he's working hard every day, but the timing and chemistry just isn't there yet. We could see Wes Welker and Deion Branch in the starting lineup until Ochocinco improves.

Patriots | Chad Ochocinco making progress Tue Aug 30, 12:12 PM
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick continues to praise WR Chad Ochocinco for his work ethic as he tries to pick up the offense. 'He's a lot further along then when he started,' Belichick said.
Our view: Ochocinco is failing in the preseason, but it's not from lack of effort. By all accounts he's been working really hard every day in practice, it's just not coming together for him on the playing field. Chemistry takes time, and Ochocinco could steadily improve as the season goes on.

Patriots | Chad Ochocinco's struggles continue Mon Aug 29, 02:56 AM New England Patriots WR Chad Ochocinco has had a horrible preseason. He works his tail off, shows up every day and is as disappointed in his play so far as everyone else has been.
Our view: Ochocinco and Tom Brady need to get on the same page. His horrible preseason has dropped his ADP to somewhere around the eighth- or ninth-round.

Boy do I ever hope there's a lot of Outlaws who will be smoking a fat bowl of crow by the end of the season.

Feels like Im all alone on this one, which really makes me question my position.

The Sports Announcers and past Pro athletes are also split on this. I heard Deion Sanders say it was going to be Ochos best season. Now that is some serious smoking there. Every outfit seems split right down the middle on this one. My whole deal is Brady is way to in love with welker and Branch, or atleast way too familiar, that I just don't see him taking on the additional work to look for Ocho. Throw in the Te's and Danny Woodhead, and I just don't see what the whole premise of the thread was about.... happening. I'm not saying he won't produce, but your original post is starry eyed on this one. All I really wanted to do was help you walk back your expectations some, and if I'm wrong.....I'm wrong. That happens alot!

Brady is quoted as saying today that he'd welcome Randy Moss back to the Pats. (Not going to happen but...)
