NFL Network put together a panel of experts to rank the top 100 players of all time. They named Jerry Rice as the greatest player in NFL history. I can not argue there at all! Here is their top ten and a link to the full list:

Nice to see Derrick Brooks on the list

I've been watching this series for weeks now. They did a great job with the list and made my day when I found Derrick Brooks on the list. I agree, it's nice to see him included.

He received a lot fan support as well coming in at 66

My favorite player growing up was Barry Sanders so (in my biased opinion) I would have him where Walter Peyton is but I dont think anyone can argue that the top 4 are the top4 no matter where you may rank them. Also, I think Deion wasnt high enough. That guy did things people throughout history just couldnt physically do.

Steve Young at number 81? :shake:

Top 40 at the worst. Better than Bradshaw and Staubach. Bradshaw got in based on the 4 Super Bowls, 2 of which he did nothing but hand off. Staubach was excellent, but Young was better..........

What I found suprising was the players I could not remember seeing during my early years as a NFL fan. Didn't get to see a whole lot of games back then being in Canada. Dissapointed not to see Largent make the list at all though
