Got autodrafted for my first four picks!

Hillman performed the best--highest ypc avg. and had the only 2 receptions (for 28 yards) for a DEN back.

Yeah, that's not his role, though. You wouldn't see Sproles doing that in New Orleans.

Yeah I know. Im just making a point about the YPC. For Hillman to have the best YPC on all of 4 carries and none of them being in clock kill time isn't exactly anything special.

Last night or on the season?
Either. Judging from the small sample size we saw last night, he's not going to be the Bronco's first choice for an inside rusher. He can even have a 6.0 YPC, but if he only gets 100 attempts, it's not going to make him the RB to own in this group.

Also, if he doesn't dominate the receptions by RBs in Denver it makes him an even less attractive fantasy player.

The entire point of bringing this all up was to state that Knowshon isn't a waste of space. His ability to be the best RB in pass protection puts him on the field in those crucial passing downs and gives him the opportunities for the dump down passes that should have probably been Hillman's.

My reality check bounced.
Hillman still can't block.. Hillman only caught 2 passes and Moreno caught 3. Moreno has been given the opportunity because Hillman can't hold onto the ball or pass protect. Moreno is the back to have right now, but I wouldn't touch any of them unless in a dynasty format. Hillman may be "Sproles-lite," but adding Julius Thomas into the targets, I would lower expectations Elf. 40 receptions may be the new ceiling and I'm projecting 25-35. He unfortunately isn't as good as the hype and everyone knows that if you can't protect Peyton, you won't play.

Also -- 3.8 ypc isn't exactly going to shoot him up the depth chart. My take from the game last night is Manning is going to throw it 35 plus per game. Rush attempts will be minimal and the hurry up offense will be full go. If you can't protect Manning you aren't going to play. He is their "Super Bowl" hope and I'm sure John Fox realizes that. Barring injury to Moreno, Hillman will not be consistent enough to start even in PPR format.

I wouldn't expect him to be. I keep saying that he's Darren Sproles Lite, and that's what I expect--not a bruising goalline back.

If I believe in a guy before the draft it'll take more than a small sample from game one to convince me I was wrong. Jury is still out IMO.

I will disagree. I think what I saw of Hillman is what I expected, and I think as the season goes, what Moreno has gotten will fade, and Hillman and Ball will increase. They are wayyy too talented to stay behind SS. Titanic in Moreno

You guys can argue the merits of all 3 of these RBs till you're blue in the face. All I was trying to do was get Elf Child to admit that he was wrong about the best pass protecting RB being in line for more fantasy opportunities.
