Well, if the Chiefs were ever going to be entering into a draft needing a receiving-type TE, this is the perfect draft for them.

I was contemplating that very thing when I saw this trade announcement. Can't help but think it made their decision easier.

Its going to be okay. On April 21, 2009 the Chiefs signed TE Sean Ryan.

So, anyone else feel this means a Crabtree pick at #3 now? I mean you have Cottom from last year...but just Bowe for passing offense. Do they walk away from Curry or OT to take an offensive playmaker to help Cassel?

Latest I've been hearing is DE Tyson Jackson out of LSU at 3 for the Chiefs. This would probably lead to Tamba Hali moving to LB, which he's been testing in OTA's this year.

The Chiefs drafted Brad Cottam last year and in the few games he played he did pretty well. I think he could be very good and don't think the Chiefs take any TE in the draft this year.
