Hurry.... Hurry.... Hurry...... Spin the wheel of Free Agent Running Backs. You could win a trip to the Playoffs. A lot of Rbs are on the market and the deals will be fast and furious because you need to get your Rbs in camp fast. Some likely movers and shakers are of DeAngelo Williams, Ahmad Bradshaw, Darren Sproles, and Reggie Bush. Don't forget the likes of Willis McGahee, Marion Barber, Jason Snelling, and Joseph Addai, Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Be careful, your free agent may be gone before you can get a replacement, spin that wheel !!

My personal ranking....for whatever that is worth....
DeAngelo Williams - best guess is Car, Den, Miami
Ahmad Bradshaw - best guess is NYG, Miami
Jason Snelling - best guess is Den, Miami, Atl, St. L
Darren Sproles - best guess is St. L, Miami, S.D.
Cedric Benson - Best guess is Cin. With the off field not sure anyone else will pay for him and his age.
Reggie Bush is NOT a FA, but will resign for cheaper to stay with N.O. IMO.
Ronnie Brown - I think in the right setting he could be solid. Being the Recieving back for say S.D. if they lose Sproles or Minn. maybe?

McGahee I have no idea, and not sure he has much left.
Addai is the same to me, but would not be surprised to see him in Washington
Barber will be a late sign due to injury.
R.W. may just be a steal for someone for a solid back up.

I was reading on a piece on Grantland the other day called "Free Agents You Meet in Hell" by Bill Barnwell. His first category? Veteran running back. His main points were that it's an inherently fungible position, and they wear down too quickly to earn their big money contracts. It's like in baseball: you can't pay for past performance. By the time a running back has a resume, they have a ton of tread of the tires. And anybody who pays any real money for Barber, Brown, Williams, or McGahee especially are idiots.

(TheHuddle) The St. Louis Rams could pursue free-agent RB Jason Snelling once free agency begins to be a third-down back behind RB Steven Jackson. Analysis: The Rams have been looking for someone who can alleviate some of Jackson's workload, and Snelling has been solid in handling those chores for Michael Turner in Atlanta. Looks like Snelling will be a fantasy handcuff for somebody; now we just need to see who.
