Game changing mistakes... do you hold a grudge?

NFL no.

College....sorry, maybe its because Im only 100% truly passionate about my Texas Longhorns, but Ill never forgive Aaron Williams for blowing that punt catch at the end of the OU game this year. Would it have affected the outcome of 5-7? probably not, but 1st round talent or not I was excited the day he left school early.

I realize the question states "NFL" but for me it depends on the situation and the sport...and the magnitude of the game.

Last year's Kellen Winslow TD against the Lions that was called incomplete...little miffed at the time, however, when that one bad call became the very thing that kept us out of the playoffs, yeah, I'm still a bit pissed off at that.

England's 2nd goal against Germany in the World Cup, the one that crossed the line, the one that was played as if it hadn't crossed the line, the one that the official stated never crossed the line...I'll hold on to that grudge for a while.

The jets had crawled back against the Steelers in the 2004 div. game and doug brien missed 2 field goals in the final 2 minutes that would have won us the game. Thats not where it ended... the jets then went and released brien and used their first pick in the following draft for a KICKER who was later released.

Understandable!

Personally speaking, if I held a grudge against every player whoever made a mistake on the field, that would be everyone lol. Throwing a pick, dropping a pass, a fumble, its called football... Players are only human! But if it happens consistently, then there's a problem...

No i don't. Everybody makes mistakes. But its much easier to take when its a player who makes a mistake than an umpire or referee to change the out come of the game. When they do that it just irratates me and makes the game feel like a waste.
