So what are the latest rumors and visits? Sounds like the Bears and Peppers are very close.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Falcons will host free agent CB Dunta Robinson on Friday. Sounds like a done deal

The Redskins have scheduled a free agent visit for free agent LT Chad Clifton on Friday. Analysis: It's a brilliant pursuit by the Redskins, who are willing to spend way more than Green Bay and are in desperate need for blind-side help. Clifton can still pass protect efficiently and offers extensive zone-blocking experience. The Redskins are installing the same system under new coach Mike Shanahan.

Rick Maese and Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports free-agent LB Karlos Dansby (Cardinals) said he would have interest in playing for the Washington Redskins. Dansby said, "But Washington is definitely a place I'm looking at. My gate is wide open right now. I'm going to take every visit. I'm going in to every team to see what type of the piece of the puzzle will I be."

The Broncos have set up Friday free agent visits for OT Tony Pashos and CB Nathan Jones. Jones is a nickel back/special teamer. The Broncos' nickel coverage was atrocious all last season; they were forced to sign Ty Law off the street late in the year. Pashos has only played right tackle in his career, and Denver has Ryan Harris in place there. Perhaps they're viewing Pashos as a guard.

the Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos are showing strong interest in free-agent DE Jason Babin (Eagles).

According to SI.com's Peter King, the Ravens will focus on adding free agent Kevin Walter or trading for Anquan Boldin.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz visited free-agent DE Kyle Vanden Bosch's (Titans) house shortly after free agency started.

The Giants are expected to offer free agent FS Antrel Rolle a deal averaging $8 million annually during a Friday visit.

Heard the Pats are watching the situation with Ravens WR Derrick Mason closely. With Welker on the long road to recovery this could be interesting.:)

Jim Flynn, of PewterReport.com, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have shown interest in free-agent RB Willie Parker (Steelers)??

Bears agreed to terms with free agent TE Brandon Manumaleuna on a five-year contract. Analysis: New offensive coordinator Mike Martz gets his man, and it spells bad news for incumbent blocker Desmond Clark. Manumaleuna goes 6-2/295 and is considered one of the best blocking tight ends in the league. That's what tight ends do in Martz's offense.

The Bears initally were the only team to put an actual offer on the table for Julius Peppers. But now it is said that the Eagles and Patriots have extended offers.
