I wonder what was in that gray container Brett was holding yesterday as he got off the plane and out of the car. Miracle cream?

I still think it was money motivated. He was on the fence and was looking for 1 last big pay day, which this was. He knows he has nothing else to prove. He won't be the same Favre he was last year. Really hope this doesnt ruin his career as being one of the greatest of all time. He'll always be remembered for these last few years and his last season, hopefully this is it, will be the biggest memory of all , along with the drama he put around himself.

I'm a softy for old guys (duh).

Have been since George Blanda was getting saves in Oakland.

Favre has been a disgrace ever since he left Green Bay. He shows no sign of honor, integrity or the decency that one expects from an elder statesman.

Whether it be for money, fame or just selfish pride he's sold his soul for it and it will (has) cost him dearly.

I look forward to the day he gets booed out of Minneapolis and then mocked by the fans he could have been an eternal hero to.

It's what he deserves.

Dont you all think that bringing Favre back for another season hinders the Vikes from building a team around either Sage Rosenfels or Tarvaris Jackson ??

The way i look at it is Minnesota is now two seasons behind by trying to band aid a Super Bowl appearance with Favre that may or may not happen

True, but with one of the others at the helm the Vikes are no better than 3rd in the division and a long shot for a wildcard.
