A top 20 RB in standard scoring leagues Turner was far from a fantasy bust as a RB 2 last year. But I gotta say that as a long time Turner owner he was extremely painful to watch running the football. There's a lot of talk about his still being a good goal line RB but I have to wonder. Even though he'd only cost me a round eight in my keeper league I'll be releasing the former Burner whether he's in Atlanta or a retirement home.

Smelling/ Rodgers is not too bad of a combo IMO.
You're right Miller. Snelling while he doesn't have the greatest moves is one of the best blocking backs in the NFL(and cost the team fairly little) and has size to pound for small yardage. Rodgers has great moves and decent speed and they should work well together. I do think Turner still has some gas in the tank as well

i like the combo, but agree they need to get another guy in there thats not the scrub currently on roster, white or something? Anyway i could totally see quizz as like a newer age sproles, hes very young too, snelling for blocking/size and maybe one other decent option in case. I doubt they have the cap room for a bradshaw/reggie bush etc (hence the turner drop, although wouldnt reggie love to face the saints twice a year) would shonn greene be cheaper? ced benson? bernard scott?

I know I'd hate to play against Bush twice each season. It's already bad enough having to play those Dirty Birds.

Coming at you
Atlanta will definitely make a move. Lacey maybe? He seems a perfect fit for that offense and could be available in the late 1st.

I don't watch much college football (virtually none) so this is all based on what I read on players, so I may be totally full of crap..............
