Falcons release Turner et al

It's certainly no surprise that the Atlanta football team released the former Burner but it is a surprise that they parted ways with two other veteran leaders from the squad. Also released were DE John Abraham and CB Dunta Robinson. The three moves save the Falcons $21.4M real dollars and $18.7M cap dollars. Look for Atlanta to make a major push to obtain Steven Jackson.

Interesting. A glut of older players out of work eh? Likely, they will still want to be paid as if they are in their prime too.....

I almost tried to trade for Quizz in a league not so long ago.

Glad I talked myself off the ledge, Atlanta will get an upgrade

As a Turner owner I watched Quizz close last year. There's no chance he packs the load if they thought he could have we wouldn't have seen Turner for 200 touches last year. Change of pace and maybe some 3rd down work according to who they bring on board.
