FA Rumors I keep hearing

49ers will sign E. Reed S from Baltimore to replace Dashon Goldson who they will probably lose
Goldson looks to go to a few teams, but rumor I heard was that Philly has the lead, but three or 4 other teams are looking to get him.
Philly also supposedly in the hunt for LaRon Landry at S as well.
Jets will trade Revis before the draft if possible, supposedly they have one firm offer now - rumor has it Philly is in the mix.
Loadhalt ORT is being hunted heavily by Chicago
P. Kruger LB Baltimore looks to be almost set to go to Cleveland (Karma is a bitch )
R. Bush looks to be locked into Detroit, but Arizona is still a possibility.

I think Reed would still be an upgrade over Goldson, despite his age, so OK with that move for SF. I have a feeling they trade for Revis too. They are so close right now that one player could put them over the top, so they bite the bullet and make the move. Kind of like getting Deon in 1994. Great player who is a pain in the ass, but they will make it work for a year or so to try to win now. The report that they have a .001 interest in Revis is them just downplaying their interest IMO.

I would like to see Bush go to Detroit vs Arizona. Would be much more fantasy relevant.

Gonna be a crazy few days here....

Winfield is one of the best run stoppers - still - you will ever find in the history of the NFL from the cornerback spot - but he is also average at best in pass defense. I would love to see him back with the Vikings but I get the move.

The offshoot of getting his 7.5 million in cap space is that Minnesota signed the two would be free agents they could not lose - Loadholt and Felton.

I wonder if moving Winfield to Safety would be a better move now? He has been a solid defender of the pass in the past, but I know his past knee issues have slowed him some

Cincy looks to be in the fa rb market for the 2nd yr in a row. Wells yesterday and Mike Goodson is in town today. There was also interest in bush (too expensive), mendy and Jackson.

I expect Goodson to be signed.
