So rumor is they will take this 2nd plus another 2nd and one if their firsts this year and get Garopolo from NE.
Pryor heads over to the Skins on a 1 year $8M deal.
Now I'm seeing 1 year $6M. I'd take either one.

Cooks for #32 overall and drop 18 picks in the middle rounds. NE is KILLING IT in FA.
Wow, like the trade for NE. But I question why the cb was not involved, N.O. desperately needs help on def. Then again, with the extra 1st and 3rd they could draft defensive help, it is a solid def. draft this year.
Sigh..... I hate NE. Just hate them.

I don't get the love for the Pats Cooks trade. Sure, he could be a terror in the slot.
But they only have him cheap for one year, his 2017 salary is just under $1.6 Million.
He will become a UFA unless the Pats pick up his fifth year option, since he was a first round pick. The estimated salary for 2018 for Cooks if the picked up the option year is estimated as being north of $8 Million.
There are a lot of mouths to feed in Cheatersville, so I'm going to wait a bit and let the dust settle to see how this plays out.
