Little Big Head

I think the other teams have helped themselves more. At least in the short-term. Sanchez and Greene panning out as longterm starters could change that but not this year. Here are 5 reasons that come to mind.
1. D got a few nice additions and should improve but not going with the "greatly" yet
2. Not sold on any of the WRs you mention
3. Favre hurt the team at the end of the season (when he was injured) but was a big reason they had success early
4. Sanchez will not have a Matt Ryan like season
5. Keller is not the alternative starting QB you want if you are planning on contending
6. Not really an issue in my eyes BUuttt - I'm waiting to see how they use their 3 headed RBBC (I almost went 4 headed just because I'm still pulling for Woodhead but figured the #'s were against me and someone might try to make me change my pick as a result before I gauge the success of their run first philosophy. (Is it a philosophy if you don't really have a choice?)
1. Its Kellen Clemens not Keller who is the alternative QB. Keller is the TE, and if he does play QB ill agree the Jets are screwed
2. Lito Sheppard, Bart Scott, Jim Leonhard are a few nice additions to a defense that was among the leagues best up until week 12 when Jenkins ran out of gas. I think you could even throw Gholston in there since I think Ryan gets a lot more out of him than Mangini ever did. I can easily see the Jets with a top 5 defense in 09
3. I am sold on Clowney as a deep threat. J.Morgan,E.Royal, and D.Clowney would all have had better draft grades had they not played at VaTech. Also think Stuckey is going to be a dangerous slot WR
4. The Jets would be better off sitting Sanchez, and playing Clemens this year and hoping he plays well enough to bring trade compensation after the season. Clemens has had a few seasons in the system and could be a solid game manager. His one chance in 07 where he started half the season was skewed because of a horrible OL, and injuries to Coles and Cotchery
5. Favre was ok last year through 11 games but not great. He was a disaster over the last 4 games.
6. I like Danny Woodhead but I dont see him cracking the rotation unless injuries occur
Off the topic of the Jets i noticed you had the Titans ranked #1 in thier division. I think you should go back and look at just how terrible the Titans were against the run during the games Haynesworth was injured while he was there. I think they struggle big time on defense this year.
Nice effort on the rankings. I dont really agree with quite a few of them, but I respect you taking the time, and putting them out there
