When it's all said and done, my roster should look like this:

Big Ben
Jameis Winston
Jay Cutler
Latavius Murray
DeAndre Washington
Kenneth Dixon
Arian Foster
Paul Perkins
Dion Lewis
DeAndre Hopkins
Alshon Jeffrey
DeVante Parker
Larry Fitzgerald
Tavon Austin
Kamar Aiken
Tyler Lockett
Phillip Dorsett
Pharoh Cooper
Breshad Perriman
Coby Fleener
Martellus Bennett
Justin Tucker
ARI D

CHAMPIONSHIP?
Uh...no.
Qb is solid, no doubt.
Rb - you have Murray and his back up for depth, but then you have the wait til I am injured crew of Lewis and Foster. I would seriously suggest you think of trading Foster, assuming he survives camp, after like Week 2 when his value should be high. He won't make it a full season, nor will Deon Lewis.
Wrs - if you get Jeffrey with Hipkins you are solid. Rest or iffy. Parker now healthy should do well in Gase system. Austin I have never liked, just me I guess. Aikin, Cooper, Perriman meh. Lockett we just don't know, after his opposit just got a big contract.

Te looks very nice with Bennett(next Hernandez??) and Fleener in N.O.

Def is solid.

You will be really good at first, but once your Rbs start to drop you may have issues.

I didn't even notice that you got a 1st from him in the deal. I retract my comment.
Boom! Retraction noted. ;)

He needs to have a .500 or worse season for that to really work in my favor. Although, I don't even really care about my 2018 2nd rounder honestly. I think my team has a pretty sick foundation of youth, especially at WR. If anyone from that Devante Parker/Breshad Perriman/Tyler Lockett/Phillip Dorsett group works out to be a legit WR2 or fringe WR1 status by next year, I'll be rolling.

Foster is basically impossible to trade at this point. No one is ever going to give up anything to get him. More than anything, I need to ride him till he breaks, and then figure something else out.

I think Murray in Oakland is pretty decent. Sure, he's no Devonta Freeman, but their O line is solid, that offense in general is on the up, and Ive got the handcuff for good measure.

I don't know why you're assuming Dion can't stay healthy. He's had 1 NFL injury. That's like saying that Gurley can't stay healthy because he started his NFL career on the sidelines with an injury. That being said, I'm not crazy high on the guy. Instead of going after Dion in FA I could look to maybe Tevin Coleman or Bilal Powell. DeAngelo is out there too, but he's an early season band aid. If not any of those moves, I could make a trade to acquire Buck Allen and try to shore up the Balt RB position once Forsett is gone...but again, that doesn't help me until that move happens.

I do have four 2017 1st round picks. I could move some of them to try to acquire RBs, but this is a salary cap league, and any move like that would eat up a good part of my free money and take me out of the running for Alshon and Latavius. Then I'm just back to square one, with one sure fire RB, the same depth, and less future draft picks. All the top RBs in the league have crazy high upside down contracts and basically steal away any flexibility. David Johnson is on a sweet cheap deal, but the owner who has him understands the value in having a stud RB on the cheap. His price tag in a trade would be very lopsided.

I don't necessarily agree with your assessment of my WR situation. Maybe it's my starry eyes. If Ive got Alshon and Hopkins locked in at 1 and 2, I can go with a number of different guys at the 3. Lockett, Parker, Aiken, Larry Fitzgerald, or Tavon Austin (who is criminally underrated btw, he was WR24 in this league last year). That puts me firmly ahead of more than half of the other teams in the league at WR3. Other owners are rolling with guys like Sammie Coates, Devante Adams, Andre Johnson, VJax, Kendall Wright, etc etc. Granted there are owners who are strong at WR and have nice options, I'm still right in the mix. Could be better though.

Agreed that is why I said you hope he survives camp, does well for a few weeks, then make the move ;)

Not sure Freeman will be Freeman again this year, he was not supposed to start, by all reports Coleman was, then he got hurt. Give him credit, he stepped up...but I see much more RBBC in ATL. So yeah Murray should be solid.

You obviously don't know Lewis. He has been around the league for years, Eagles originally drafted him, loved him, but he kept getting injured and they let him fly. He had same issues in Cle. Then he got picked up in NE, was the bomb, and then got hurt again. He is not a spring chicken either. I would actually get Coleman vs. Lewis, but am guessing most here won't agree.

If you can't trade up for Elliot, then don't and take best value you can get. Not sure how many teams in league, but there is some real good Wr and young Qb talent you could get. I would STRONGLY suggest looking at Booker rookie Rb in den also if you can get him.

You have one of the best 1-2 combos if Jeffrey can stay healthy. As for the third Fitz if he is like last year is gold. Austin yeah he gets his...its just so on again off again. You get 2 weeks of double digit, then 2 weeks of single digit. Parker I am very high on in Gase system, assuming Qb can ball again. So no, not dire by any situation....just not top line either.

That was helpful info on Lewis. I didn't really know his background. Congrats, you've officially scared me off of him. Doesn't take much to move me off a NE RB, that's for sure.

The rookie draft is already complete, so there's no more moving up to get Elliot. The guy who has him will never trade him until he gets to see what he's actually worth. He's married to Elliot. I took Kenneth Dixon, DeAndre Washington, Paul Perkins, and Pharoh Cooper in the rookie draft.

Thanks for all the replies and insight. It's always helpful to get a fresh perspective.
