Donald Driver has both knees scoped Opens door for ???

This is one where we flat out disagree PhiCinFan, lol. I like Jones this season but time will tell. However one thing I can agree with is that the young man has got to stay healthy if he wants to make a difference.

 Although i will say that was a nock on Jennings early in his career with GB also I believe.

Jennings and Jones's situations are eerily similar, not to mention Driver oand Jordy's. The Pack does a good job of reloading no names in their receiving corp.

rotoworld,
Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin acknowledged that the status of Donald Driver's surgically repaired knees is a concern.

"Obviously, we have to see what happens with Driver's knee when he comes back," said Philbin. "...I haven't seen him do anything since January 10." Philbin also confirmed that he expects more playing time for James Jones and Jordy Nelson. Last season, Driver wound up averaging nearly 60 snaps per game. In order to keep him healthy at age 35, the Packers could cut that number down to around 45-50. We're avoiding Driver in fantasy drafts.

rotoworld,
Donald Driver (knee surgeries) returned to full contact practices Saturday for the first time since the end of last season.

"[Both knees] felt fine," Driver said. "I didn't have any problems cutting today." Coordinator Joe Philbin had recently expressed concern about Driver's condition after the dual scopes, but this is a positive sign. He's still a candidate for a dropoff in production at age 35.

-- Packers Extend Donald Driver --
Fri Aug 6, 2010 --from FFMastermind.com
ESPN reports Green Bay Packers WR Donald Driver signed a two-year contract extension Friday. Financial terms were not immediately available. Driver is now signed through the 2012 season, when he will be 38. "Now I know I'm going to retire a Green Bay Packer," he said. "It's a great feeling."

With a 2yr extension is his latest knee problem a major concern ?? dont sound like it

I'm with you, D! It turns out that for the last two years his knees have needed a simple clean up scope. Because he didn't get it his knees regularly swelled up, needed draining and hurt. Despite this he has performed great! Last year the FF experts said he was a year older and done. Despite this, Driver outperformed Jennings in Fantasy leagues bad knees and all. Now thanks to the two cleanup scopes, a relatively minor procedure, his knees are now pain free, and those knees are sound.. Yet as you can read above FF experts say it will be a downturn year for Driver again, just like they said last year.

Painfree knees and a new contract, I like Driver this year.

Finleys expected emergence will hurt Drivers targets. Jennings is the outside deep threat and should maintain his workload . Driver will decline a bit this year, but probably not due to age/injury.
