I'm in a ppr league sitting at 6-1. I traded Romo,Sporles and Veron Davis for McGhaee and Brees. I didn't have to give up Ray Rice to get Brees like I thought I would but what do you guys think. Did I give up to much?
 
can't really tell w/o a full roster. If you are sitting nice at rest of your positions(especially TE) Then I thinks it's great. Though Sproles is money in PPR
 
My new line-up will look like this. Brees, rice and McGhaee rbs Austin and Andre Johnson wrs and Jared Cook te. Shone Greene Amendola on the bench
 
In ppr you gave up too much. Yes, Brees is clearly a upgrade for Romo, no question. But the loss of pts from Sproles and Davis will kill you, as McGahee isn't that great a pt total. Cook has been a bust, and I don't see any help at Te for ya.

I agree with phicinfan here. You lost too much at rb and te than what you gained with Brees. Just curious , at 6-1 why the need for change. You would have been alright with the loss at TE if this wasn't ppr but the combo of losing davis and sproles without having a better te than cook left makes this not that great
 
Just felt Romo couldn't get me to the finish line so I took a chance. Guess I will have to wait and see now. Thanks for the replies
 
Your fascination with trading may be the death of you, Mark.

Brees was a nice upgrade but you've got some holes to fill now.
 
As of today McGhaee and Cook have out scored Sporles and Davis by 10 pts a piece and Brees has out scored Romo 135-50 you guys r probably right but felt this was to win it all. About 3 of my wins this year were luck on my part. So I rolled the dice. Guess we will see what happens the next couple of weeks. Thanks again guys for the input. No one thinks it was that good of a trade so guess I should of asked first but can't go back now.
 
FTR I didn't think it was bad at all for you. Sproles hasn't been scoring like last year and Davis has been inconsistent as hail. My biggest fear were I you is when will McGahee go down cuz he will.
