nfl.com has a playoff challenge for a trip for 2 to the super bowl . . . it's free to enter . . . we could make a group in there . . . anyone interested?

some of us played in it last year, i believe . . . scoring is a little different this year (bonuses for players on your roster for multiple weeks)

Running a Playoff Pool out of my daughters pub kind of based on the lines of what Bomb did here years ago:

General Rules
Each entry will cost $10:00 each.
Each entry will select 1 player from each NFL Team in the playoffs. 1 Player only, entries with more than 1 player off of any NFL teams roster will be disqualified. Roster to be comprised of :
2 - QB
3 - RB
4 - WR
2 - TE
1 - PK
Scoring will be on a performance scale: (all bonus scoring is cummulative, ie: QB will receive 4 bonus pts for 400/+ yds passing and 3 bonus pts for a 50/+ yd passing TD) Points will be calculated as per the following scoring rules using MFL.com and the official updates by Elias sports using Thurs updates

QB/RB/WR/TE/PK scoring :

- 0.05 pt/Passing yd
- 0.1 pt/Rushing yd
- 0.1 pt/Receiving yd
- 1.0 pt/Reception
- 0.025 pts/return yd (Punt, Kick, or Fumble)
- 2 pts bonus for 300yds Passing
- 2 pts bonus for 400yds passing
- 3 pts for passing TD
- 1 pts bonus for passing TD of 25 yds or more
- 2 pts bonus for passing TD of 50 yds or more
- 6 pts for rushing TD
- 2 pts bonus for 100 yds rushing
- 2 pts bonus for 150 yds rushing
- 2 pts bonus for rushing TD of 25 yds or more
- 2 pts bonus for rushing TD of 50 yds or more
- 6 pts for receiving TD
- 2 pts bonus for 100 yds receiving
- 2 pts bonus for 150 yds receiving
- 2 pts bonus for receiving TD of 25 yds or more
- 2 pts bonus for receiving TD of 50 yds or more
- 6 pts for fumble return TD
- 2 pts bonus for fumble return TD of 25 yds or more
- (-2 pts) per interception
- (-2 pts) per fumble
- 2 pts per fumble recovery
- 2 pts per 2 pt conversion (passing, rushing, receiving, or fumble recovery)
- 1 pts per extra pt
- 3 pts per FG
- 2 pts bonus for FG of 50 yds or more
- (-1 pt) for missed FG of less than 50 yds
- (-1 pt) for missed FG of less than 35 yds

Payout: (all entries must supply name, and contact ph# or email)

Top Score - 50% of total entry fees
2nd Score - 25% of total entry fees
3rd Score - 15% of total entry fees
4th Score - 10% of total entry fees


Rosters deadline is 12:00pm Pst (Midnight Friday) Jan 4th/13. They can be emailed to [email protected]. Email timestamp will be used to verify valid entry. Payment in full ($10 cash) must be arranged for and made with/to Michael prior to the kickoff of the 2nd NFL Playoff Wildcard game on the following Sat or entry will be deemed invalid
