Do the Lions have any chance of getting Suh?

Do they have a chance at all of getting Suh? I'd say the only way is if the Rams see something in Clausen. Any thoughts?

Lions are running a 3-4, why would they want Suh? IMO, they'd be better off taking Okung and protecting their franchise QB's blindside.

That is true. But they had a chance for 2 OTs last year and passed on both. The o-line is a must this year, but so is the defense.

If he's the best prospect, you draft him and cater the scheme to him. At least that is what normal teams do.

Yes they do. Rams QB Marc Bulger is likely going to retire. Keith Null and Kyle Boller are at best low end backups. The Rams have woes aplenty, but they MUST obtain a QB NOW.

Its the only position that justifies the money of a number one overall. I hope Claussen has a heck of an offseason here for their sake.

Sadly, Clausen will get picked...but is not the best Qb. I am thinking Rams if they played the cards smartly...could pick OT, or DT...and then come around with first pick in 2nd round and get Bradford. Heck McCoy may be there as well.

Youd better have a good line around McCoy. Defenses will tee off on that shoulder now that its been proven a good whack to that area will disable him. It happened in his frosh year against Kansas St too.

Of course then again Bradfords AC Joint might be trash.

Clausen might not be the best pick, but he seems like the safest.

They've invested in o-line and d-line early for the last few years; they just need to mature and start paying off. Quarterback is definitely a need so the timing is good. All the prospects after Clausen and Bradford are the suck, and free agency only offers Jason Campbell and Tarvaris Jackson.

Are you saying that Sam Bradford will be available in the second round??? The Rams need a QB, to win you need a stud QB, then someone to protect the QB, ie OKUNG, then you need defense. The Rams must take a QB.

No, he has too much potential to drop, but that AC would worry me.
I disagree. I think all but one Qb may drop below the 1st round. Bradford and McCoy...had they not been injured...might have been late first rounders...but I am not sure they go first round now.

While I agree St. Louis needs a Qb. Putting a rookie Qb behind that line is mass murder. I think St. Louis needs to go Okung...or if at all possible trade down to get more picks....and then look at Qb later if talent is there.

Look at the Lions 70 million dollar rookie QB. Had to go on IR.

I think Suh is the unanimous #1 overall pick. If the Rams pass on his then the Lions should take him. I agree with the previous comment to cater around him. He is a franchise defensive player and would be the missing part that defense needs. IMO, if he plays the way he did in college, he will be a future hall of famer...now how could you pass on that

if i were the rams gm, i'd be looking to trade down for more picks and i'm sure they could find many suitors who would jump at the chance to move up to get suh . . . ;)

so, no . . . i don't think the lions have a chance to get suh . . . ;)
