Disappointed With Sirius NFL Radio

I upgraded my XM account recently so I could listen to NFL games when I was away from the television, and was excited to have a 24/7 NFL station allowing me to keep up better with what is going on around the league.

There are a few good hosts there, but there are also some very biased hosts on there who simply do not respect anyone's opinions other than their own, and those that fall in line with their opinions. I listen to people calling in with legitimate points to discuss, only to hear them get laughed at and basically hung up on, while the host continues to hammer home is own opinion about something. Pretty classless in my opinion. I have literally heard these people say that NFL fans simply don't understand the NFL as well as the media does. That is simply laughable.

In addition, the league can simply do "no wrong". There is no way that you can be 100% behind everything an organization does unless you are simply a puppet for that organization. With some of these guys, it is clear they are merely puppets for the league. Again, disappointing.

Not sure how long this station has been on the air, but I really hope there is some sort of improvement around the corner.

What shows are you referring to in particular? I haven't found any shows to be as you mentioned and I have been listening to Sirius NFL station for 3 yrs now.

I enjoy shows like 'The Opening Drive' that have Gil Brandt on them.

Now granted I only listen during my morning and evening commute and during evenings when I am in the car. I may just be missing the shows you are referring to.

I guess the guy that annoys the hell out of me the most is Adam Schein. That is the name that tends to stick in my head the most when the station is annoying me. For some reason, it seems like he is on the radio everytime I am listening.

I don't have sirius radio, nor have I ever heard the NFL station, but I do dislike radio hosts like there. There are 2 here in Tampa that do that. They don't really listen to the callers they just tell them they're dumb.

I have XM, so I don't get the NFL Games....but do get College Football Games. The ESPN Radio Show here talks 90% of the time about the Redskins, so I don't bother listening to it.

Yeah, I think you are talking about the show 'Moving the Chains'. Schein can be really annoying but co host (I think its Carl Banks) tries to keep him in check. Schein is really close minded and sticks to his POV no matter what you throw at him to refute.

Have you listened to the fantasy show on Tuesday or Friday nights yet?
