Did the Cowboys overpay!

A six year deal worth 108 mil is big news for a 33 year old quarterback. 55 guaranteed and 25 mil in signing bonus. I know he is not all the Cowboys problem for the past woeful seasons but he has made some costly mistakes over the years on key plays. Seems a bit much imo. Comes out to around 18 mil a year. I could see that for maybe a few years but they really must believe in this guy.

ewwwwwwlllgh... yeah, that's not smart money at all... as much as I would give Rodgers the moon... I wouldn't get Romo a 5 dollar handy at Anthony's

Can't wait to hear the logic in this one....

55 million guaranteed is 3 more than Flacco got...

"Romo's record over the past three years is 17-21. Even if "wins" are no way to measure quarterback performance, Romo hasn't taken Dallas to the playoffs since 2009 and has just one career playoff win."

And were already seeing the bad deal for Flacco drive more bad deals....this will continue. This is a ton of guaranteed money for Romo, and I like Romo a lot more than most do.

As bad as this is, it scares me the numbers I hear rumored for Rodgers coming, then Ryan will be next. Sigh, it is like one large slippery slope
