DeMarco Murray having surgery today on broken hand

It's in his non-football carrying hand a bone to the fourth finger. Same injury happened to Smith back when he played for the Cowboys and he only missed one game. Of course one game could cost lots of fantasy owners a title they thought they were on the way to winning. :(

It should be noted that he has not been ruled out for this week yet by the Cowboys who really don't seem to much give a dam about the guy's health.

is it a chicken or the egg kind of thing?

what I mean by that is, the NFL has suddenly realized that Rbs are not all that special, and can be found later in the draft for much lower price. Key is solid O line and development of a solid offense that isn't driven solely on one person. DeMarco has only really started to shine late last year, and then has exploded this year. I believe he is at the end of his rookie deal...not sure though. So the question is, is it all DeMarco? Is it due to O-line which was vastly improved....or combo of both.

Most feel the key is the Dallas O-line. So ride DeMarco like a donkey, then find his replacement early next year.

Yeah it's a contract year. Murray has always been good as I recall but never stayed healthy. No doubt the Cowboys have run him like they didn't care if the wheels fell off or not. They should have cared as a week or two without him will surely prove.

Oh and his replacement will be none other than Adrian Peterson as I posted before the spanking news broke.

Now the waiting game by Dallas.

They need a contract for Bryant, and Murray. Do they tie up that much money? I think of the two, they spend on Bryant, but we shall see.

You can't let Dez go, no way no how.....if they let Murray go, they need to get another bell cow, he was very critical to this team, especially with their strength being on the oline.

I take it no one here thinks Randle is the next Murray then? I thought they did.

Great to keep both of those two, but the success factor this year is based on the offensive line. It's those guys who are making these guys shine, something that has been missing from the Cowboys offense for years.
