Cowboys @ Packers: Who wins?

I don't think any of us still discussing it is thinking it was a game-winning reception taken off the board. Just talking about the stupid rule... and how it was/wasn't applied correctly. That's all.
Very bad rule, but now they just have to figure out how to remove the subjectivity from it. I felt the Calvin Johnson call was even worse. He caught the ball....went down and put the ball down to celebrate. Horrible call and it created this mess.

Decide the game? Who knows.

Major effect on the outcome? No question.

Ignorant reviews like this kill a great finish to what could have been a great game. Doesn't matter who is playing.

NFL rules need a 15 year rewind.
What were your thoughts last week Mike?

Any Cowboy fan feels like, IF Cobb doesn't get fortunate on the tipped ball, (hell....any fan with a good qb on his team)Romo is gonna march down the field and score a td with 2:00 left. I was not concerned at all with 4:30 left, the way Rodgers was moving the ball, that he was gonna take the ball atleast 50 yards for the winning field goal. Like I have said repeatedly. THIS DID NOT decide the game, just like the play last week with 8:00 minutes left didn't decide that game. Cowboy fan was on borrowed time if they feel this was a game ender and forgot about last week.

(also, cobb might have been fortunate, but a good player is always ready to capitalize on the moment)

The Cowboys had a great season and Romo has proven once and for all how good he is. This game is over!
It's not a game winning field goal if dallas punches that TD in and gets the 2 point conversion. The refs robbed any chance dallas had at winning that game. Green Bay only scored 26 points. It's not like rodgers was unstoppable and it was a sure thing he would lead them down the field for a score.

Didn't watch the game.

Regardless, I can't stand the booth reviews, coaches challenges, or the sissy rules that have found their way into the game I the past several years.

I was perfectly happy complaining about bad calls that were made in real time on the field. For me, it was part of what made this a great game.

Mike....Bodey......My thoughts last week were "Horrible decision to pick up the flag, BUT, it didn't decide the game. Romo had 8:00 minutes."

I bet you were aware of the picked up flag though.

That fact that this play didn't ultimately decide the final outcome of the game is up for debate.. But there's no debating that it affected the final score. Dallas shoulda been given the opportunity and they were screwed, just like the lions were on WC weekend.

Nostalgia brought me to watch the remainder of this game after church.

The history that is the ice bowl somewhat repeating itself.

1967 gave us a mysterious field heater malfunction...

2015 gave us a modified game outcome via some misguided manipulation of yet another misguided Goodell era rule.

Bodey.....what were your thoughts last week vs the Lions??
I thought once the flag was thrown they should have stuck with it. I thought it was holding not pass interference. There are plays/calls like the one against the lions and against dez that happen throughout the game but these stick out because they were late in the 4th quarter.
