I have to voice, once again, how much I love this thread guys, and thanks once again for fulfilling this request.

I thought that perhaps I was absolutely crazy to have such a Boldin, post 2008 season. Nobody was talking about him, and perhaps that was for the best? Or perhaps everyone else kind of had the thought of "dude, there's no need to discuss Boldin. He's amazing and we all know it."

Just make sure we get Q in EC's "hot little mama paws"

And well played ER, well played.

I like White here is well. I am not big on WR's who are more worried about their contracts than producing on the field. The addition of Gonzalez will help take some of the coverage away from White, I look for him to have a big season this year.

Dude, Boldin's been asking for a new contract since LAST year. Instead they signed Fitz to a monster deal. How did Boldin answer? With 89 Rec, 1038 yards and 11-FREAKING-TDs, in 4 less games. I think to Boldin, the team comes first. However what else does this guy have to do to get the money he deserves?

Boldin is the better receiver in my opinion, hands down, but i have to go with the guy I know his status at this time. Ask me in a month and I might switch.

I would guess that anywhere else he gets dealt his status would only improve, anyway. From #1a/#2 in a pass-happy offense to the go-to WR anywhere else (within reason).

Unless he went to an ultra-conservative offense with a questionable QB, his value will remain constant regardless.

Teams in the market for a WR : Baltimore, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Miami(maybe)...

Not exactly prime situations for 90 receptions, 1100+ yards and double digit TDs.

I guess it depends on what your expectations are relative to where you're drafting him. (Generic statement that could apply to every single fantasy player, LOL)

I say he's good for 90+ catches, 1200+ yards, and 10+ TD's wherever he lands, or if he stays in AZ.

Baltimore would be acceptable. And Flacco all of the sudden vaults up the charts.
Baltimore won't ever be pass happy. So adding Boldin will only kill the WRs value...not inflate Flaco's in my opinion.

He stepped in and did well as a rookie, and he might travel well, but most of the time the switch of teams isn't an immediate good thing. If he stays then I reserve the right to change. Until I know more, I will draft Roddy and not worry about it.

guys, Boldin is not going anywhere....if I had to put a % on it, 90% chance Boldin stays.

Here's the thing.....you may very well be right.
Here's the other thing...you may very well be wrong as well.

here is what i see. Arizona will be the next Seattle. They will go up in flames this year. They will look terrible doing it. They will have a HUGE push to improve due to it. What is their best bait? Yep...Boldin. Especially with Breaston there. Look at Warner going down this year.....due to injury...and then the world drops out. Just sayin.....

I agree. I know it's all hooky pooky superstitious crap, but I fear Arizona this year.

I don't care how good the team is, there is still no reason to believe their passing game goes to shit. Boldin has put up monster numbers when they sucked.....regardless of the QB....

In season trades are EXTREMELY rare in the NFL, if you are banking on that in your FF draft strategy you are in trouble....

That's a fabulous point Miller.

Same could be said for Marshall. I wouldn't be bowled over if either/both are on new teams this year, but if it doesn't happen before week 1 it probably won't happen until next offseason.

Their is nothing about Boldin that scares me; he is a consummate professional and consistent performer. I'm not sold on the Cardinal's front office and coaching. With Todd Haley gone Whisenhunt will be calling the plays; I'm betting he starts Breaston over Boldin.

I have more confidence in Boldin but will take White for fantasy.
