Alright Outlaws, keeping it simple this year. No long intro's, just make the call. Your drafting in standard scoring leagues and these 2 are staring you in the face. Who's the pick?

Trent Richardson, RB, Clev (R) vs Demarco Murray, RB, Dal

You sure picked a gem dandy to get the ball rolling Miller, hat's off to you on a heck of a close call. Murray showed us last year what a stud he can be but he's got company in the backfield. It's going to basically be a one man show in Cleveland's backfield. Trent is the most hyped RB to come out of college since AP and we all know what kind of career AP has had. I give props to Murray and think he's a hail of a back but I'm drafting Trent here because I feel he's a special talent the like of which seldom comes around.

I am assuming we are late second or even third round here. If I have a solid #1 back I roll the dice with Richardson. If not then I have to take Murray just cause he's produced in the past at this level.

I pick Richardson due to the chances he will get. He will be the focus of the offense both rushing and passing, until the rookie Qb develops some trust or for that matter the young wrs earn his trust. Murray can be a special back, but you also have a Qb that loves to gun it, and wrs like Austin, Bryant and Witten there to get the ball to.

Love this thread and everybody's comments. I am with tek on that for this year i think Murray has a slight edge. Also like Phicinfan's point about the chances richardson will get. What weighs my decision is i think with Dallas, Murray will have more opportunities to score.

If your waiting that long, they will both be long gone. Current ADP on TR is 2.1; Murray is 2.3. IMO, too early for both. But if i am taking one, it's Richardson. Special talent and I have seen the hype train on little used backs in their 2nd year before. They show a flash and boom, they are 2nd rd picks only to fall flat when given a full load.

That's a good point Miller but there is also a pretty high frequency of Top Rookie RBs that spend most of their rookie year on crutches.

There must be an art to taking an NFL hit.

True.....kinda why I think they both are going earlier than I would take them, but Trent is a rare talent, so I lean to him if I had to make a pick.
