DEEEEEEWAYNE BOWEEEEE!!!!!

TO is old. He is going to a less talented team. He will be facing better defenses IMO out of the Jets, Pats, and Dolphins than he saw last year with the Skins, Giants, and Iggles.

Bowe has a decent QB, good supporting cast, and faces some crappy defenses.

I don't know about a "less talented team", but I'll give you those AFCE defenses. Sure, the AFCW has a couple good corners but on the whole our division doesn't scare anyone.

I'll also throw out Edwards less-than-powerful arm, harsh cold winters, and Dick Jauron as reasons to take Bowe over Owens.

There was a little talk in here about who had the softer schedule.

I contend that Buffalo actually has a far easier schedule than KC does. I have KC ranked as the 3rd most difficult schedule against pass defenses to Buffalo's 5th best.

When analyzing Bowe's sched, I included Oakland x 2 as tough matchups for him. Asomugha is one of the few "lockdown" CB's left in the NFL and I presume he'll be locked onto Bowe for the entire games when they meet.

How can it be wrong when it's his opinion.....:headscratch:

And great insight by the way....:nannie:

I guess the "easily" part is what got my reaction and the lack of insight was more from my alcohol consumption at the time I logged on. I shouldn't post when on vacation...........

But TO is still a great receiver and will put up numbers regardless of his team situation and also has a history (if two situations is a history) of putting up big numbers his first year in a new system. While Bowe is a very good receiver, I doubt he puts up monster numbers, especially with Cassell (not a believer in a guy who almost got cut last preseason as being a top QB) throwing him the ball, so to say Bowe over TO "easily" is kind of short sighted IMO.........

Better?
