Washington, Dallas, New England, Green Bay, Miami, Seattle, Tampa Bay are a few teams come to mind that may need a little help at RB

Sorry, but he could land about anywhere and not be useful. He was cut by the Browns, who just signed Mike Bell.

I think Washington is as good of place as any. Ryan Torrain is their starter. Not exactly Walter Payton...........

He never had a chance in Cleveland. Jamal Lewis, Peyton Hillis, and Jerome Harrison all ahead of him after Mangina hurt his shoulder, then the force feed of Hardesty this year. Id like to see him get a legitimate chance with real coaching before I pass judgement.

He wouldn't have much of a chance in Tampa Bay either, not unless Lumpkin screws up his training somehow. Right now Lumpkin is first in line behind the Motley Crew.

(TheHuddle) The Washington Redskins signed free-agent RB James Davis (Browns) to their practice squad Wednesday, Oct. 27, according to The Washington Post's Jason Reid. Davis has a chance to join the team's 53-man roster soon. RB Jeremiah Johnson was released. Analysis: Mike Shanahan's not going to let Ryan Torain-owners sleep comfortably all season, now is he? He'll monitor Davis on the scout team, see if he fits the one-cut-and-go scheme, and make a decision from there.
