This sucks because now we are going to never know who the better team was.

Alabama was better tonight, and in the history books thats all that matters. We likely finish 13-1. We are the Big 12 Champions. We have a group of kids that didnt quit, that kept fighting, and that will be back. But when memories fade all that matters is Alabama got it done and we didnt.

No excuses.

Hes trying. I hope this kid takes this bad taste and works his ass off. He has alot of talent around him for a title run in 2011.

Not exactly true Bodey. Bama was the best in the nation when they whooped the Gators. They remain the best unless beaten. I too would have loved to see Texas at full speed but during the regular season few teams remained healthy all year.

Alabama playing not to lose here could hurt them because Texas is getting really good field position. A couple of completions and a few first downs could possibly give Gilbert the confidence he needs to bring them back.
