TEN - Chris Johnson to miss minicamp - Mon Jun 14, 11:33 AM
Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson is not expected to attend the next round of minicamps, which begin Monday, June 14, according to Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean. Johnson has yet to participate in the team's offseason program, including minicamps in April and May because he wants a new contract.

I'm pretty sure he's keeping up and working out on his own. I too have not heard anything about that, but I have heard that CJ's work ethic is incredible. Last year he missed voluntary workouts to train in Orlando on his own.

TEN - Chris Johnson breaks his silence - Tue Jun 15, 10:32 AM
Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson broke his silence Monday, June 14, but offered little in regards to his contract dispute with the team, according to Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean. 'I am just focusing on trying to stay in shape and being ready when I am back on the field,' Johnson said in a phone interview. 'My mind has been on one goal, to continue to be the best running back in the league. I've had a great offseason. I plan on being even better than I was last year.' When asked if he plans to report to the team, Johnson replied, 'I don't know. I'm just working out.' When asked if he's prepared to hold out until he gets a new contract, Johnson said, 'No comment.'

Ok RH, and others.

I'm getting cold feet over this CJ mess.

I can get Rice(Round 4) and Miles(Round 16) for CJ (Round 3).

I'm starting to feel like I need to move on this before it's too late.

Need someone to talk me down.

Which Rice? Sydney from Minny? If it is that rice, I loath him without Favre. But love the Miles value.

I wouldn't give up on CJ, personally

Yeah, I keep telling myself that I'm getting him in the 3rd and even if he sits all year I'll have him in the 2nd next year.

I still have Gore and Greene so I could deal with a short hold out.

Thanks guys, I'm holding on.

Maybe he'll get traded to Miami or something. :pigsfly:

Haven't I been telling you that you need to dump that flash in a pan while he was hot? And I was telling you that way before he started his hold out. I'll save you by trading you Bradshaw for him. Bradshaw will only cost you an 8th round. Just say the word and I'll rescue you from this poor situation.

You best worry about rescuing yourself.

All you got going for you is Turner the "split carries 3 ways" back burner and Rogers....AND YOU'RE TRYING TO UNLOAD ROGERS!

oh....and Wayne for a 1st round pick :veggieslap:

IF I make a move with CJ it will be to a team that has something to offer in return....Not to guy with an aging roster and fewer studs than an FHA house.

I would have been VERY tempted to do the Ray Rice deal.

DAMMIT MILLER!!!

I had just gotten comfortable with keeping him. :xpissed:

What about CJ3 and DJax5 for Rice4 and McCoy5.

I could then keep Gore1, Rice4, McCoy5 and Greene16 and have my 2 & 3 picks left for WRs. Look for a QB and TE in 6 and 7.

Or should I ....AHHHHHHHH :runaround:

I would do this, but then again, I would have done the other deal with Rice as well. One player, no matter who the player, is better than two solid really good starters.
