The NFLPA's lockout fund, created by funds set aside during the 2009 and 2010 seasons, will be unlocked on April 15.
Only players on NFL rosters for the entirety of the 2009 and 2010 seasons will be eligible for the maximum payment of $60,000. Second-year players and fringe talents will receive even less. That money won't last long when "modern-day slaves" like Dez Bryant start hitting the jewelry stores. Owners will have all of the leverage if the players' April 6 injunction request isn't granted.
