Matthew Stafford (shoulder) said he felt good after throwing in a quarterback competition Saturday, April 16, at the Georgia spring game, according to CBSSports.com. Stafford is pleased with the progress he's made rehabbing his injured shoulder. 'Being able to come back (from the shoulder injury) as quick as I did has been nice,' Stafford said.
Analysis: All indications are that Stafford's recovery is going well and right on target at the present time. He is without question an emerging young star that just needs to stay on the field and avoid the injury bug and hope that his shoulder continues to improve. Fantasy owners should consider him a No. 2 quarterback with tremendous upside this season.
