Bills acquired pretty decent red zone target in WR Mike Williams from the Buccaneers for a sixth-round draft pick today. Williams had wore out his welcome in Tampa. Could this be bad news for Stevie?

yeah, there was already stories out there that he was gone, and they would draft a replacement. I know they are very high on the young kids they have already with Woods, Goodwin and Graham. So this will only help them, and he comes in a ton cheaper than Stevie. Sigh.....this is depressing for me in HG....sigh...

Why, not like Stevie is in a great passing destination in Buffalo.....is he goes elsewhere it could be good for him.

Lol, well yeah, there is the risk he goes there, but if they keep landing guys it may not be as bad of a destination as once feared.

True.
He could end up in a few other Wr needy sites....:
Good - Seattle, New England, Tennesee(assuming they pass with Wisenhunt), Carolina
Bad - Raiders, Jets, Minnesota(until they get a real Qb), Cleveland(see Minnesota)

Word on the street is that they'll be keeping Stevie as most of his contract and I mean all but $.25M would still count against the cap if they cut him. Yeah they'll keep him for that lil' bit of chump change.

Gordon and Jordan seemed to do well with no QB in Cleveland.....

yeah, I agree. I actually like this. With Williams and Stevie and Woods, they have a solid group of Wrs. Stevie will probably end up in the slot against safeties and #3 cb, which would help him. If they address the O-line as expected, I like the growth potential of Manuel this year.

uh, coaching and OC have changed, so lets see what happens before we anoint them again this year....
well if you are going to wait long on either......you won't be owning them. Gordon showed if he's on the field, he's a threat, I don't think system or qb will kill him . Jordan may be a wait and see.....he did have a bit of a roller coaster last year, but I think he will be fine as long as they get an OK qb....

Thing with fantasy is they hold their drafts BEFORE the season, so you kinda have to go with your guy and ride it out ;)

I won't hesitate to own either this year.
