Bucs TE Kellen Winslow healthy again.

Kellen Winslow's surgically repaired knee is feeling "really good" in offseason workouts with Bucs teammates. Winslow was coming off a surgery going into last year. He had a 66/730/ 5 TD with 98 targets campaign last season playing every game. But the knee had him appearing on injury reports 9 different weeks in which he showed up as a last minute Probabale. Winslow avoided surgery this offseason, which runs counter to his normal routine. It's no surprise, then, that he's leaping and diving to catch Josh Freeman's passes in workouts. It's worth keeping tabs on Winslow this summer to better gauge if a bounce-back season is in store.

Tampa Bay head coach Raheem Morris noted that he sees rookie Luke Stocker working in two tight end sets with Kellen Winslow this season, according to the Pewter Report. The Tennessee product is a big target with soft hands and possesses the skills to develop into a solid starter in the NFL. He is a good pick for keeper leagues, and could make a splash in fantasy leagues in 2011, especially when you consider Winslows track record with injuries. He has been working with former Volunteer and Pro Bowler Jason Witten during the offseason as well, which should raise his odds of success.

Agreed Norm. Agreed. I'm getting my popcorn out though cuz Freeman has GOT to have another TE to pitch to otherwise we're going to be too much of an open book. I know we've spent a good deal of time this off-season sprucing up the playbook now that our toddlers are all graduating to whole food this year, but I love the play-to-play drama of an explosive rookie on the field. Well, I hope he's explosive at least... time will tell.

I tell you what, I love what Tampa has on offense.

Solid young Wrs, two receiving Tes, a young stud Rb. And a young Qb who seems to be right in the head.

Just awesome. They could be together for a while too, which only makes it better.

That's a great point, and one I'm hoping becomes true and the locker room can stay intact as much as possible. Morris is doing a lot of things right and he's proving to be wearing the tread in his shoes in almost all of the right places on the field. He's a no drama kind of guy which is one reason why Talib is in trouble.

When Khris, Skedar, Bayton and I were at training camp last year we looked at each other said "the next 2 years will be evolutionary and if we do this right we could become a force to be reckoned with". I'm thinking... we're on the right path. Reinforced by smart drafting for the 2nd year in a row, veterans like Winslow not only have a platform to shine on but he too is growing is game.

I'll be first to admit that I wasn't jumping for joy with KW2 showed up in Tampa because at the time he was fostering more rust than fame. But his production, desire and skills improved during each season as a Buccaneer. I can't wait to see how the sunshine and Lee Roy Selmon potting soil nurture Stocker.
