The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not had any serious contract talks with impending free-agent LB Quincy Black, reports Charlie Campbell, of PewterReport.com. General manager Mark Dominik is expected to meet with Black's agent about the possibility of a deal. The Redskins, Chargers and Texans may be potential suitors if Black isn't sewn up with a new extension.

Go get that money!

Texans ILB DeMeco Ryans reiterated that his Achilles' rehab is on schedule, and he plans to begin on-field workouts within the next month. Analysis: "My rehab is going well," he insisted. "I'm making a lot of progress. I haven't suffered any setbacks. Everything has been going right on schedule."

With Demeco coming back the addition of Black could be huge for the Texans D.

Sun-kissed & restless
Tampa would be stupid not to seal a deal with Quincy Black. They were really high on his performance pre-injury so I'll be interested to see if they're still drinking the kool-aid.
