BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is not practicing because of an unspecified injury.

Hillis has 252 carries and 59 catches in his first season with the Browns, who acquired him in a trade with Denver. Coach Eric Mangini doesn't believe Hillis, who has 1,129 rushing yards, is wearing down and said the workhorse back's injury "is nothing that I'm that concerned about."

The Browns (5-9) will host the Baltimore Ravens (10-4) this week. Hillis rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown in the previous matchup between the teams.

Meanwhile, rookie quarterback Colt McCoy is sick and did not practice Wednesday.

McCoy stayed inside as his teammates began preparing for Sunday's game. Mangini did not say anything about McCoy's illness during his news conference.

A team spokesman said McCoy was "not feeling well."

The quarterback returned to the starting lineup last week in Cincinnati after missing three games with a sprained ankle. He is 2-4 as a starter this season. Last week, he completed 19 of 25 passes for 243 yards in a 19-17 loss to Cincinnati.

ESPN is reporting Hillis has a sore knee. I don't care if your knee is sore today, it's not nearly as sore as your butt will be when I get done kicking it if you (hillis) don't get out there on Sunday and play your little heart out!

I have him in one league and facing him in another, so its tough to say what way to lean. But I hope he sucks it up, and Ray Lewis has promised no big day for him. Should be fun!!
